The Works

Posted on 9/6/2009 at 2:02:41 PM

What’s going on with me lately besides being feverish(which is hopefully gone now) and feeling tired? I have a boatload of WIPs (Work In Progress)  and I’m looking for new glasses.

Glasses are about 100-300 a pop and I definitely don’t have insurance to cover that sooo…I searched online. Of course there were some dubious businesses *cough*zennioptical*cough* but I think I’ve found a legit place: eyebuydirect.com

I’m trying on tons of frames digitally and measuring everything. I really like how you get the case, cleaning cloth, standard lenses and scratch resistance for free. Extras are cheap too, I’m thinking of getting Anti-Reflective for 7 bucks more and shipping is about 5 bucks. I’ll give you an update on them when I finally decide on a pair and receive them.

I can finally stop wearing these glasses that I believe I got either at the end of junior high(6-7th grade) or early high school(8th grade). I won’t get rid of them because they’re good, reliable backup, no matter the torture to my nose.

Anyway! Not like anyone cares about my eyewear, right? Here are some of the stuff I’m working on save for one image artweaver corrupted as I was finishing. *shakes fist*

  1. Prescription Lens Says:

When it comes to buying eyeglasses online, here’s another great resource I came across on the web: BestBuyEyeglasses.com – the site features a diverse collection of designer eyeglasses, sunglasses, frames and lenses at deep discount prices. Great site for those who eye high end labels but on a tight budget.
